Announcement    Hello and welcome to my shop on Etsy.

Ever since I can remember, I have been taking things apart. Trying to figure out what makes them tick. One day I was tinkering around and created a clock from an old computer hard drive. I showed a few people and they were impressed so I kept tinkering! My life has not been the same since!!
From old computer hard drives, I moved onto old motherboards and other cool, interesting parts of old computers. Then, while repairing my own road bike, I had the idea to recycle bicycle parts and make clocks out of them. Records and record players came next. Anything I can get my hands on I consider for a clock idea.
What I love most about this work is that … it’s not work! I love what I do! I love that I am, not only able to be creative, but I am also helping the environment by recycling old junk that would likely end up in some landfill.
In 2007, I quit my “real job” to make my clocks full time. It has been a great adventure! I have met some incredible people who eagerly donate materials that they would typically throw in the trash and I have seen the inside of more dumpsters than I could have ever imagined! Every clock I make is an original with a history that we can only imagine. Every ding and dent tells a story. My clocks are not just time pieces but story tellers.
Re-purposing old stuff into cool new stuff is what my craft is all about. Thanks for stopping by. I also have another etsy store at stuffmadefromstuff.
